Bavarian Motor Works Recalls 350,000 Automobiles Due To Brake Issue
Current media accounts indicate that Bayerisch Motoren Werke AG – better known as Bavarian Motor Works – is recalling more than 350,000 BMW and Rolls-Royce-brand luxury automobiles because of a power brake problem. Eight- and 12-cyllinder models make up the Bavarian Motor Works recall roster. Bavarian Motor Works 5- via 7-Series vehicles and Rolls-Royce Phantom vehicles built from 2002 to this year are integrated. Bavarian Motor Works spokesperson Frank Strebe made it clear that the Bavarian Motor Works 5-Series sedan is not integrated in the current BMW recall.
A power brake product problem is the culprit within the BMW recall
The brakes in some vehicles have to be pressed harder in order to get the car to stop, accounts Bloomberg. The vehicles in question all have high mileage and are BMW and Rolls-Royce. There is no vacuum pressure in the brake pump which makes this happen. This happens because the brake help module has a leak in it. Bavarian Motor Works is hoping to get all the automobiles fixed before any accidents or injuries occur, as there has not been any power brake troubles reported yet. Owners will even be notified of the Bavarian Motor Works recall via first-class mail in the next few weeks. Dealerships could be offering free repairs to any of the owners who come, states Strebe. It will take at least a few hours for each vehicle. Bavarian Motor Works Customer Relations are available for contact at 800-525-7417 and at consumer.relations@bmwna.com if you need more data on North American BMW.
BMW loses lots of money
Anyone who has a Bavarian Motor Works on the recall list can have repairs done for free. The power brake system default repairs may cost Bavarian Motor Works a huge amount of cash though. Since August 12, BMW has had the largest mid-day stock which is about 3.3 percent reports Bloomberg.
Which automobiles are in the recall for BMW/Rolls-Royce
- The 2002-08 BMW 745i/Li, 750i/Li, and 760i/Li are in it
- Then the 2007-08 BMW Alpina B7
- Then there's the 2004-10 BMW 645i and 650i
- Then the 2004-10 BMW 545i and 550i also
- 2003-2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom models

Charting PSI to CFM - Help!!?
I work for a graphic equipment supply company that sells dry vacuum/pressure pumps and I have to create a chart at work, using Excel. On the (X) axis, it will be PSI (pounds per square inch/measurements 1.38 to 8.50) and on the (Y) axis, it will be CFM (cubic feet per minute/measurements from 0 to 500 with) . What formula do I use? For example, my PSI is 1.38...how do I figure out the CFM? Am I looking at the information the wrong way? Any help would be appreciated. I am really behind deadline
You will need to list the actual performance
figures of the pump.
They should have been supplied to you to
complete the task.
(That should extend your deadline a bit.)
