Backpack Your Things And Swing Away
Backpacks have become a popular means of packing your luggage during short and long travel. The greatest attraction is the ease with which these can be carried by the traveler. At the same time, backpacks offer more freedom of movement to the backpacker. Often a frame called the pack frame is used to keep the backpack steady, firm. It also distributes the weight evenly across the whole of the backpack. This will ease the pressure on the shoulder and distribute the weight to the hips or legs.
Backpack comes in three types. Some backpacks have internal frame. Others have external frames while there are those that do not have any frame at all. Light weight metal tubes are used as the frames. Aluminum is the most common ones used. Titanium and scandium alloys too are sometimes used for making the frames. The least expensive of the lot is the frameless backpacks.
The external frame backpacks are favored when one wants a backpack with large capacity. It is also suitable for carrying heavy load. Campers or hikers strap their camping tents, sleeping bags and other camping equipments on to the frame. The frames are rather rigid. This makes the backpack stiff on your back restricting free body movement. The internal frame backpacks are more flexible. The frame combines the use of metal and plastic. The flat bars or stays that make up the frame can be bent to the desired shape. They also adjust to the contour of the body. This is not only comfortable, but also offers you better freedom of movement than the external frame backpacks. The frameless backpack is more popular than others, and is commonly used. It is also cheaper than the backpack with frames. There are, in addition, the large internal-frame backpacks which are specially designed for outdoor activities. These are for carrying heavy loads. They are padded more heavily and are designed to attach to the shoulders and the hips.

How can i easily separate two light fixtures that were originally wired together?
We just changed the fixtures in my in laws kitchen. There were two florescent fixtures now there is one and one ceiling fan where the other was. They would like to be able to turn off the florescent light while leaving on the ceiling fan. Problem: They are wired to the same wall switch. Is there a remote switch or something we can put on the florescent fixture?
You can add a pull switch to the light.
Otherwise, if the line feed comes in to the fan box, you can put the pull switch on the fan and use the wall switch to control the light.
The other option is to rewire with a 3 wire +ground from the switch and replace the switch with a duplex switch, one for the fan and one for the light.
