oven not working, please help?
it is an aga rangemaster duel fuel, which has two oven chambers. One of them (the smaller one) works properly, yet the other one (the bigger one) only seems to be blowing out cold air. this all happened after a switch fused.
If this is a gas stove, but with an electric igniter, it is probably a failed igniter. Or possible a short in the ignighter caused by food dripping onto it. You can go to one or the online appliance parts vendors online. You should be able to search on your model oven and find a diagram showing teh location of the igniter. It is something that most people can easily change and replace themselves. Just be sure to disconnect the electricity from the oven before doing so.
I've had this occurr with a two part oven. Usually one is broiler( the smaller one) and the other for baking. Each section uses its own, seperate igniter.
